Hi, I’m Kim
Everything you need to know about What The Book and its creator
I’ve been a voracious reader my entire life.
I loved books before I could even talk, and it’s a passion that’s never left me. I was independently reading by the time I started school, and since then I’ve always had an interest in books. As an adult, there may have been weeks or months where my attention slipped, but in recent years I’ve found my way back to reading as a means to deal with life’s stresses. I’ve decided to share my passion for reading with others, through this blog and my Instagram account.

About Kim
By day, I write about video games and Lego: Along with my partner, I own and run GameSpew.com and ThatBrickSite.com. I’m also a freelance writer/editor for a number of outlets, writing about games, Lego and technology.
The rest of the time, you’ll likely find me with my nose in a book. I try to be a varied reader, but my favourite genres will always be crime and thriller.
What is What The Book?
On What The Book, you’ll find all my bookish ramblings. Largely, you’ll find reviews of the books I’ve been reading, but you’ll also find lists and features here. Over time, I hope to expand the range of content I’m providing, but mostly, What The Book is my home for thoughts and feelings about books, authors and the novels I’m reading.
The Scammer by Tiffany D. Jackson review: Shocking, unsettling and gripping
His & Hers by Alice Feeney review: Thrilling & Shocking
Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix review: The Craft meets One Born Every Minute
