Hi, I'm Kim!

Welcome to What The Book! I'm a freelance writer/editor by day, running my own games media website alongside my partner. In my spare time, I've often got my nose stuck in a book. I love crime/thrillers, with the odd bit of women's fiction thrown in. Here you'll find my book reviews, recommendations and musings on all things book-related.

📚 RECENT BOOK MAIL 📚 I'm home from an absolutely bloomin' lovely weekend in Chester. Me and the other half spent two nights there, stayed in a lovely hotel, enjoyed some rest and ate plenty of good food along the way. But I spent Saturday with @somethingaboutbooks23 and we had the best day together ❤️ A highlight of this weekend's trip to Chester (aside from seeing the wonderful @somethingaboutbooks23, of course) was getting to visit the brand new @chaptersbookbar. BOOK REVIEW: Eye Spy by @c.m.ewan BOOK REVIEW: Sister of Mine by @marieclaireamuah If my username doesn't give it away, I absolutely love my Kindle. While I love owning physical books too, there's something about the ease of holding a Kindle, and adjusting its screen to suit my needs, that means I'll be a lifelong ereader user.
