Hi, I'm Kim!

Welcome to What The Book! I'm a freelance writer/editor by day, running my own games media website alongside my partner. In my spare time, I've often got my nose stuck in a book. I love crime/thrillers, with the odd bit of women's fiction thrown in. Here you'll find my book reviews, recommendations and musings on all things book-related.

BOOK REVIEW: Fifteen Minutes by @mrsamandaprowse BOOK REVIEW: She Must Go by @ajcampbellauthor Something a bit different from me today, but since it's a rare occasion where my two words collide, I thought I'd share. Braaaaaaaains 🧟‍♀️ Happy publication day, @gdwrightwrites! Mindfulness is something I find myself thinking about increasingly lately. Life is hard and stressful, and being perpetually online or near a screen doesn't help. Being more aware of how I'm spending my time, how I'm interacting with people and how I'm treating myself is something I'm trying to improve.
